The Nightfall Campaign Interpretations

Benedict is a legend - oft spoke of but never in over five years of play has he been seen, except as shadows and memory echoes. He remains an enigma. Trumps.

Corwin has seen many of his children killed, his pattern destroyed and himself become a captive of Fiona. Despite these setbacks which might break a lesser man, Corwin picks himself up and goes forward with another plan, to yet further heartbreak no doubt. Trumps.

Deirdre - well what can we say? She's never been the same since she came back from the Abyss. Darkly compelling, she retains her elegance and mystery. Her control of the Grail, from which she drinks blood, and her recent possession of the Jewel of Judgement have been cause for concern in some quarters. Trumps.

Fiona, traitor princess and outcast of Amber. Her presence is often felt but rarely seen. Exposed by her brother Bleys, she now openly pursues her aims with no restraint for appearances. Trumps.

Bleys, the flamboyant Prince of Amber, and former Regent, now rules Amber as her King by popular acclaim of his relatives. A string of narrowly won victories and dire portents have inaugurated the reign of Amber's new Sun King. Trumps.

Llewella, the enigmatic princess from Rebma, has been forced of late to take a deeper involvement in Amber affairs than she would like. Some have said her eyes reflect the future. While that might be debatable, her mirrors certainly do. Trumps.

Flora is the fragrant Chatelaine of Amber. During the most recent internal family conflicts, she managed to come out on the side of the victors - again. She is here pictured with her favourite wolfhound (an essential fashion accessory), with Castle Amber behind her. Trumps.

Caine, eldest of the three so-called 'Brothers Grim', has agreed to give up his post in the fleet in order to pursue intelligence gathering for Bleys. He retains a deadly reputation, which has only been enhanced by recent rumours that he might be thousands of years older than had ever been suspected. Trumps.

Julian, reached high, garnering control of the army and the title of 'Lord Protector of Amber'. However, recently, when Amber was invaded by the Iron League, he suffered a fall in the Great Game, losing all when Bleys rode to the rescue. Cool, aloof and holding together his tattered dignity, Julian has returned to his beloved Arden to brood. Trumps.

Gerard, the strongest man in Amber, has once more descended into disfavor following the loss of his beloved fleet in battle with the pretender Eric. Rarely seen in Amber at present, he attempts to rebuild his shattered fleet in the close shadows of the Golden Circle.Trumps.

Random was of latter times an erratic ruler, slipping by stages down the slippery slope into madness, leading to his eventual forced abdication and imprisonment. Trumps.
